Another craft design you can do from a pair off old stocking is to create floral arrangements. It is easy to build and the manner of making them is suchlike to the butterfly or fairy wings. For this task you would need stockings in different colours, silver or gold wire, green tape, thread, pair of pliers and pair of scissors. You can dye bare color stockings to whatever colour you wish by just sticking to the instructions from the dye maker. You can also call for your female relatives and friends if they have kept their colored and texture stockings. The textured stockings, by the way, make fascinating flowers because of their colors and textures.
Let us begin with the petals. Cut some wires with the pliers at approximately 6″ in length. With a piece of the 6″ wire, link the ends together and twist them. The shape is now oval. Encase the oval wire with a stocking and tightly suit the stocking into place. Now secure them by the curved end of the wire by sewing through them. Cut the extra stockings. Do the remainder of the wires.
