Urinary incontinence (UI) is a medical condition common among men and women around the age of 60. This condition can be very frustrating and embarrassing and challenging at the same time. It cannot be cured but it can be controlled through the help of treatment and incontinence underwear so that the person’s quality of life can be improved.

Involuntary leaking or uncontrollable wettings are the usual symptoms of urinary incontinence. Due to these characteristics, people also refer to UI as loss of bladder control or urinary leakage. People with this condition cannot control their bladders and usually fail to reach bathrooms to relieve themselves, thus wetting anywhere the need catches them which can be very embarrassing. Studies made by the National Association for Continence (NAFC) that around three million men and women around the age of sixty in the UK and about 25 million Americans suffer this condition. Furthermore, it is found that women are more likely to have incontinence than men.
